OFSW Food Security and Wellness

The Office of Food Security and Wellness (OFSW), within the Division of Public and Behavioral Health (DPBH) of the Nevada Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), is comprised of three Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Promotion (CDPHP) programs: The Office of Food Security (OFS), Obesity Prevention and Control, and School Health. The OFSW works to overcome health disparities in low-income populations to prevent obesity and chronic disease by implementing evidence-based strategies which encourage healthy behaviors and improve health outcomes.
