Three Square

Three Square offers the Summer Food, Fun and Nutrition Program as their SNAP-Ed program.  It coordinates with “open” program SFSP sites in the community to offer onsite physical activity and , nutrition,  education and meals between the breakfasts and lunches that they serve.  It runs between 9-12 weeks during summer break.  Three Square also offers a food bank with activities at 8 sites that serve breakfast and lunch during the summer program only.  This is a free program open to the community.  Three Square partners with the Boys and Girls Club of Southern Nevada to staff the sites, so they use the Boys and Girls Club Triple Play curriculum as their direct education source.

Thanks to this program, my kids have had something extra to eat, meet friends and have something fun to do. Wow — thanks for the school supplies too. Thank you to all the staff that has put in time and energy to make our children have a great summer.
